The thing I love about new years is it reminds us of possibility.

It always exists – tomorrow could bring any number of new things into our lives. We can change ourselves on any given day and decide who we want to become and start making the choices to create that reality.

But we forget that possibility is always there. We get caught up in the day in and day out of life, of putting one foot in front of the other.

And then suddenly the new year says, Wait. Things don’t have to be what they are. Tomorrow is the unknown and the unseen and you can walk into it and make this world what you want it to become. We remember possibility exists and for a moment we hope; and we dream; and we revel in the unknown.

  1. That is the best part about the New Year’s, for sure. Change is possible! Of course, if you are happy with how things are that isn’t always as fun, but there’s only so much you can do about that 😛 Hope 2015 is a good year for you <3

Yes, change isn’t always what we want it to be. Especially when things are good. Eventually, there’s the possibility of change again and hopefully it leads us into something better on the other side. I hope 2015 brings you more joy than you can imagine now on the cusp of it 🙂

  2. This is such an important thought, oh my gosh. I think a lot of people are reluctant to leave behind 2014 – it was such a wonderful year for so many of us – but we have to remember that 2015 holds potential to be even better. 😀 Happy New Year to you! x

thank you 🙂 Someone once told me only the difference between excitement and fear is your expectation of the outcome. I know you’re excitement will carry you into a fantastic 2015! Happy New Year to you too 🙂
