things of 2016

things of 2016

2016 is a bit odd to look back on because things have changed so much. It feels like years have passed between now and March and yet, oddly, things in December are beginning to look a little more like they did earlier in the year. I know, cryptic. It’ll all make sense once I get through the months. Suffice it to say, where 2014 was the year of traveling and 2015 was the year of author events then 2016 is the year of change; of building new paths to create new futures. And I like change! The other part of this year has been editing my audiobook. I had no idea when I started everything that would be involved or how long it would take. My goals for the year were laughable. I was going to publish the audiobook of Tattered Heart by March and publish Enchanted Storms (which didn’t even have a title yet). I was […]

Writer Blog Hop: My Writing Process

Writer Blog Hop: My Writing Process

When Amy tagged me in her writing process post she had no idea what a gift it would become. Obviously, neither of us foresaw what a crazy week this would turn into – in both work and life and everything. Now, in the aftermath, I get to sit down with a cup of coffee and a good playlist and talk about writing, which is an unexpected gift. The interesting thing about being a writer is you kind of can’t talk about what you do. And by that I mean, you can’t really talk in depth about your WIP. Because why spend all that time trying to describe it instead of […]
